A furious Wenger had reportedly entered the referee’s room after Dean awarded a late penalty for handball against Calum Chambers from which earned West Brom a 1-1 draw last Sunday.
Meanwhile, Arsenal’s response to the FA was concluded on Thursday night in the hope Wenger is sentenced this week and potentially avoids missing an extra Premier League game. Wenger is ready to accept the charge to ensure a quick conclusion.
It seems inevitable that Wenger will be handed a ban. If Wenger is hit with stadium restrictions, the visit to the City Ground could be the first game the Frenchman misses as Arsenal manager.
