Cristiano Ronaldo signals his Real Madrid exit after Tottenham

November 02, 2017
For the first time ever, Tottenham beat Real Madrid on Wednesday night.

Spurs put in an unbelievable performance against the reigning Champions League holders, beating them 3-1 at Wembley.
Madrid were well beaten in the English capital, as Dele Alli marked his first match in the UCL with a brilliant double.

Christian Eriksen chipped in with the killer third before Cristiano Ronaldo got Real on the board.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s Madrid exit

After the match, Cristiano Ronaldo repeatedly stated he has no thoughts of signing a new agreement with Madrid..

Speaking to BeIN Sports, Ronaldo said:

I am doing very well at Real Madrid. I have four years left on my contract and I don’t want to renew. I am fine.

Ronaldo also admitted that Real Madrid are struggling this season having allowed players to leave in the summer.

Cristiano complained about the decisions to allow the likes of Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez leave:

The players who have come in have great potential.
But Pepe, Morata and James Rodriguez made us stronger – now the team is younger.

We are also without [Dani] Carvajal and [Gareth] Bale. It’s not a worse squad, but it has less experience and that is very important – though it is not an excuse. I’m happy and don’t want to set off alarms.

Real Madrid fans are furious at one player after Tottenham Hotspur loss

November 02, 2017

Karim Benzema is someone who gets his fair amount of criticism, and it seems that this season, there are a fair few more detractors than there are supporters of the striker.

Zidane and Benzema himself have come out to shoot said critics down, with Gary Lineker one of the most vocal pundits to voice an opinion Real Madrid didn’t like – but against Tottenham Hotspur he went missing and everyone was quick to blame him.
There’s no denying the majority of the Real Madrid side were poor – with the defence and midfield lacking at best, but the lack of goals from Benzema is becoming a real issue for the La Liga side – and while he didn’t have a good game, Ronaldo duly scored to make it 3-1, and at least got his name on the score sheet.

The question of if Real need to buy a better forward is certainly being asked at the minute – as is the question of just why Alvaro Morata was allowed to leave for Chelsea.

£170million Manchester United transfer target increasingly keen on accepting Real Madrid offer

November 02, 2017

Real Madrid look in a strong position to spoil Manchester United’s transfer plans next summer with a move sure to rock the footballing world.

According to latest reports, Tottenham striker Harry Kane is increasingly keen on the idea of a move to the Bernabeu, with the Spanish giants also expected to move him up their list of priority targets..
The Sun recently claimed the Red Devils could be prepared to pay as much as £170million to prise Kane away from Tottenham, but the north Londoners themselves would surely also rather see their top scorer move abroad.

Kane, 24, looks like he could be a major upgrade on current Los Blancos front-man Karim Benzema, who hasn’t been at his best this season with just two goals in his first ten games.

Real have a long history of spending big on glamorous signings, and Kane’s current form surely puts him in that world class bracket that would make him a very welcome addition in the Spanish capital.

United, meanwhile, already have Romelu Lukaku in their ranks, with the Belgian making a fine start to the season since his summer move from Everton.

ESPN have also linked Jose Mourinho’s side with renewed interest in Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann, who would make a decent alternative to Kane in attack.

Lionel Messi furious with Barcelona boss ahead of January axing of teammate

November 01, 2017
Things are going very well on the pitch at Barcelona this season as they remain on course to launch an assault of multiple major trophies.

Ernesto Valverde has seemingly done an excellent job thus far having taken charge this past summer, and he’ll be working diligently to ensure that they can keep their form going.

The Catalan giants sit four points clear at the top of the La Liga table with nine wins from 10 games, while they boast a 100 percent record in the Champions League.

However, just when things appeared to be going perfectly, reports claim that Lionel Messi is not impressed with his Barcelona boss over a potentially key sale in the January transfer window.

Valverde is open to the idea of offloading Denis Suarez in the new year as the 23-year-old continues to struggle to hold down a regular place in his line-up.

Suarez has made just eight appearances in all competitions so far this season, scoring twice and providing three assists and so it’s clear that he is capable of having an impact and that may well be behind Messi’s desire to keep him around.

Further, it’s suggested that Valverde values Andre Gomes highly, even though the Portuguese international has struggled badly to prove his worth since arriving from Valencia last year.

In turn, the touted decision to sell Suarez and keep Gomes hasn’t pleased Messi according to Don Balon, and so it remains to be seen whether or not it causes friction in the coming months with the big decision coming in January.

There could be an argument to suggest that neither should leave midway through the campaign, as Barcelona need a deep squad to continue to compete on various fronts and injuries could derail them if they don’t have enough depth.

However, we’re led to believe that Messi has picked his side on this occasion, now time will tell if his power at the club has any sway over managerial decisions..
