Rumors have it that Barca manager, Ernesto Valverde wants to keep Gomes and has admitted to the 24-year old the sort of difficulty he'll face trying to find his feet in the starting team.
The news comes with huge speculation that Tottenham is interested in the Portugal International. Telegraph report says Spurs are interested in Gomes and that the club's manager still have his eyes on Denis Suarez, another Barca teammate.

Gomes must be keen to reignite his career at a big club and the Spurs is greatly in need of midfield reinforcements, the two will be a good match this month.
