PSG star wants Man City move after Neymar beef

The Uruguayan star wants to move away from PSG after a recent spat with Neymar.

Despite scoring at a prolific rate (43 goals in 44 Ligue 1 games), the Uruguayan got into a tiff with Neymar when the Brazilian stole the ball from him to take a free kick in a recent game with Lyon. Cavani had insisted on taking a penalty before then, and missed.

With Cavani subsequently not showing up at Thiago Silva’s birthday, there are tensions in the squad.

Trouble for the 30-year-old is, however, that City already have Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus in attack, and are also going to try to nab Alexis Sanchez (who probably fits Guardiola’s system better) in the January window.

This may leave the Uruguayan international in an awkward situation, seeing as he is also being rivalled by young Kylian M'Bappe up front.
