BRAINJO – FARABALE | @iam_ brainjo Jonathan Anaeto Chukwudebe "Brainjo" formerly known as Black J, is an Afro Pop, Highlife and Reggae Dancehall Artiste, he was born and raised in Shendam near Jos Plateau State 28 years ago. The Ihiala Anambra state born fast rising Artiste lost his parents 23 years ago at a very young age. As an ambitious lad, on December 2003, Brainjo move down to Lagos State in pursue of greener pasture, he has been on the street of Lagos for over fourteen years, doing all manner of jobs just to raise money to record his songs. He recorded his first music single "African beauty in 2005 with the late Ojb Jezreel of blessed memories. In 2009 he tried again by recording three singles, “Pitty drivers”, “Party with me” and “Mummy why” produced by J-Martins. Brainjo appeared on major newspapers and magazines with interviews and reviews as (Black J ) in 2007/2009 respectively. In 2011 he recorded a song "Want to do" which was produced by Meca E. To crown it all, Brainjo tagged the year 2017 as "My Year of Breaking Barriers". The Katsina state police command says Yari Inusa’s death was reported to the command by his father The Katsina state police command has confirmed the death of a young man, Yari Inusa, who died following injuries he suffered while competing in a flogging competition for a lady’s hand in marriage.
The Punch, reports that Inusa sustained injuries on the head when he engaged in a Fulani traditional game with another man, Ahmed Saidu, to determine who would marry a lady.
The flogging competition known as Sharo game, entails male suitors flogging each other for a woman’s hand in marriage. Whoever wins the competition earns the right to marry the lady.
Inusa gathered had reportedly flogged Saidu without any incident, however, when it was the turn of Saidu to flog Inusa, he allegedly hit Inusa on the head, instead of hitting him on the back as the rules of the game dictates.
Inusa was reported to have fainted after he was hit on the head; and eventually died. Speaking on the incident, the Katsina state police command spokesman, DSP Gambo Isah, said Inusa’s death was reported to the police by his father.
“Inusa’s father, Mallam, reported the incident to the police, leading to the arrest of Saidu,” he said. He said Inusa’s corpse had been released to the family and buried according to Islamic rites.
In another news, a suspected notorious kidnapper, who is popularly known as Dan, has been arrested by the police in Enugu state for allegedly heading a notorious kidnap and robbery group called Umu Malaysia.
The suspect, whose identity was given as Ikechukwu Nnadi Daniel, has been linked to various criminal activities ranging from kidnap, robbery, burglary, theft, and murder of people within Nimbo/Adani/Opanda axis of Uzouwani local government area of Enugu.Channels TV, citing a statement by the Enugu police spokesperson, SP Ebere Amaraizu on Sunday, September 3, reported that the suspected kidnapper was arrested by the police recently after an operation borne out of intelligence information in the ongoing onslaught against crime in the area.
