Photos have shown the moment a randy couple was busted romping.
According to The Sun UK, the couple is now facing a stiff fine after they were caught having s*x on a river bank by a police officer.
The explicit display was filmed by giggling eyewitnesses on their phones near the city of Valledupar in Colombia.
Initially, it looked like the couple might escape charges as the cop was just too late to catch them in the act.
But then videos shot by eyewitnesses started appearing online and police soon had all of the evidence they needed.
The couple, whose names have not been released, were fined £104, the equivalent of 16 times the monthly minimum wage.
The video footage begins with the man and woman having energetic sex on the bank of the Guatapuri River, a popular local beauty spot.
The man had one leg in the river and was standing between the legs of his partner who was lying on the riverbank with her legs wrapped around him.
There could be no mistaking what they were up to and a number of eyewitnesses complained to the police.
And it was not long before a police officer was on the scene to admonish the couple for their bawdy actions.
The couple were prosecuted under Colombia’s new Police Code which includes fixed penalties for sexual acts or exhibitionism that provoke public complaints.
Police spokesman Colonel Mauricio Bonilla said “We were informed of the case, we arrived on the scene, the two people were located, but unfortunately they were already dressed.
“There were no citizens who could act as a witnesses… but now the couple have been identified… since after the event took place these videos appeared on social networks.”
Guatapuri River is one of the region’s premier tourist attractions and many people go there to relax.
