Neymar replacement
As soon as one transfer saga ends, another begins. Neymar’s move from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain kick-started a host of new rumours. Who will replace the Brazilian at Barca? One contender is Paulo Dybala.
Juventus don’t want to sell their star. However, history has shown that they’re open to persuasion with Paul Pogba and Zinedine Zidane two high profile to leave the Old Lady for giant fees. So a big offer might tempt them.
Huge offer
La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Barca are lining up such an offer. They’re willing to part with €120m in cash (with an additional €20m in add-ons) and offer two players into the bargain to boot. Good players, too.
Andre Gomes and Rafinha are the two players being used as the makeweight. Gomes was signed from Valencia for a huge fee last season summer but failed to impress while Rafinha (brother of Thiago Alcantara) is a high-quality player.
However, selling those two players would leave Barcelona short of midfield options.
