Harry Kane's amazing goal scoring record has out-rightly starved his Tottenham Hotspur teammate Son Heung-Min for the credit he deserves, Mauricio Pochettino believes.

"Yes, that is what we think. But we cannot prove this" the Argentine told Reporters.

"When you talk about Beckham, he's a massive world icon. Maybe its like this with Sonny. But here he's so humble and he's such a normal guy. That makes him so important to us.

" I think he's such an important player for us, scoring a lot of goals and he's very consistent in training, his performance. He's an important and very good player for us.

Last season, Son scored 14goals in the top flight of English football, a total not too many midfielder have reached. He's the second highest scorer in the club in the league with six to his name despite not always being considered a regular in Pochettino's strongest XI.

He added "Personally, us the coaching staff we've given him the credit he deserves.

It is very natural to focus on Harry Kane with all the goals he's scoring but still, its very important to show Sonny how much he's appreciated. This is what Pochettino opined.
